Our founder and president Carolyn Fell has been in the rescue business all of her life and a State of Michigan DNR (Department of Natural Resources) and USFW (United States Fish & Wildlife) Permitted Wildlife Rehabber since 1991. Since 2006, domestic animals have been showing up on the door step. Her dream of having an animal rescue came into being, with the next logical step being the formation of a nonprofit corporation. That is how Mid-Michigan wildlife/animal rescue started.  MMW/AR was formed and has a four member board:

President - Carolyn

Vice President - Tabetha

Secretary - Carina

Treasurer - Laura. 

Thanks to our many loyal volunteers including Frank, Terry, Michael, Michelle & Angie, Judy, Candice & Ryan , Lisa, Cindy, Jessie, Charles and Rhonda!

Several wonderful supporters and benefactors, including Jeff T,  Gary H and  Stacy S. have help with their support. Last but certainly not least, the wonderful support form the local, State and County police depts, as well as from the Michigan DNR and USFW.

We  will continue to hold  our annual rabies clinics, in keeping with our Mission Statement of community awareness in the importance of spaying, neutering and vaccinating our pets.

We will continue in this mission as well as wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release and domestic rescue and adoptions to wonderful new forever homes.
